Kristina Maier

Kristina Maier has been admitted to the bar since 2004 and has been working in the field of intellectual property law ever since. She became a certified intellectual property law specialist in 2007.

Kristina’s areas of expertise include defending and exploiting industrial property rights, drafting model license agreements, negotiating them, providing advice on various trademark and competition law cases, and litigating disputes. She has a particular focus in plant variety protection law. In this highly specialized area of intellectual property law, she advises and represents breeders and other agricultural companies on protecting plant varieties and exploiting their rights.

Before joining von Gierke Ahrens Trauernicht, Kristina worked in various large law firms and as an independent lawyer.
